Quality Assurance 

We know a thing or two about skylights. Our sister companies Westbury Garden Rooms and Westbury Windows & Joinery have been manufacturing for over 30 years. During this time, we have perfected a precise system for crafting top-quality, perfectly performing and visually stunning roof lanterns. Our system has been thoroughly tried, tested and ultimately refined to such an extent, it enables us to efficiently manufacture roof lanterns in shorter lead times without compromising on quality or style.

Rest assured that we quality check all of our glass before it gets delivered on site for installation, so in the extremely unlikely event that the glass was cracked we would replace the broken unit as soon and possible. We do offer a full fitting service, but alternatively, you can choose to fit it yourself. Our lanterns are delivered with an installation manual and a link to an installation video. You are also more than welcome to give our expert team a call if you encounter any issues – they will be happy to help in any way possible!

Our Guarantee 

Our Essex skylights are internally crafted from premium, knot-free laminated Redwood timber, and fully capped with powder-coated aluminium externally. This means that no timber elements are exposed to weathering, ensuring no water ingress or leakages. Timber roof lanterns ensure no cold spots to draw in condensation and provide superb thermal insulation.

At Aliwood, we have a 10 year guarantee for parts and a 5 year guarantee for parts and labour. This means that if there is an issue within 5 years of installation, we will send our team out to fix it free of change, between 5 and 10 years they will just need to pay for the labour.

Let There Be Light

Now more than ever, space and natural light in the home is paramount. With more of us spending time indoors, it’s the perfect excuse to indulge in a timber roof light. Depending on our factory supplies at the time of the order, we usually quote 6-8 weeks for delivery of the lantern. When the lantern arrives on site, we would expect the installation to take just 4-5 hours, depending on the size.
