What Sets Our Roof Lights In Essex Apart?

We want to show you why Aliwood should be your first port of call when it comes to roof lights in Essex.

There are many companies who offer roof lights in Essex, but there are few who do it the way that Aliwood does. That’s not to sound conceited or self-indulgent, as many of those companies create lovely products. Aliwood’s timber roof lanterns are different, however, in that they stand out in what, at times, can feel like a sea of similarity. It’s this difference which we’d like to address in today’s blog.

Traditional Look And Feel

In our minds, a roof lantern should serve two distinct purposes. Firstly, it should facilitate more light entering your home. It is, after all, a form of window! Beyond this, however, is the second reason, and this is the factor we think other companies often miss out on, at least to an extent. Roof lanterns should look the part. They should add to your home an air of luxury, and exude an exclusivity that can’t help but make you feel house proud. The way our timber roof lanterns have been designed is to seem traditional and classic, without seeming dated. Testament to this is the fact that our timber roof lanterns suit urban and suburban properties as well as they do rural ones!

Customer Service

Here at Aliwood, we believe that the journey with your roof light shouldn’t begin simply when it’s delivered or installed. We believe, instead, that the customer’s experience should be from the moment you call up to enquire about having a roof lantern made. Our installation team makes sure to carry out their work with as minimal disruption to your day as possible, whilst never skimping or cutting corners.

Quality

Our joiners and carpenters have decades of industry experience and pour all their energies into every timber roof lantern that is made. When roof lanterns are increasingly being made from PVC and similar plastic alternatives, our carpenters strive to keep one of the oldest forms of craftsmanship fully flourishing. You know that, when you purchase a roof lantern from us, you’re being guaranteed an unparalleled piece of workmanship, a piece of bespoke work that’s enhanced by its materials rather than slave to.

Every single roof light we make is made to order, there are no assembly lines in sight here! Our roof lanterns have been architect-designed, further adding to that assurance of quality. We feel that this is something that’s been lost in recent years. Cheap, mass production has chipped away at the human element involved within manufacturing, and this is something we’re determined to continue to bring back now, and into the future.

If, after reading this blog, you’re unsure as to the enthusiasm and pride which we put into what we do – perhaps you think this is all for advertorial display – then ring us and find out for yourself!
