Supply Only

If you choose our supply only service, your lantern will be delivered in easy to construct component parts. You will be supplied with a full set of installation instructions along with an installation video to help ensure that the process goes smoothly.

We would recommend setting aside a minimum of 3-4 hours to fit the lantern, depending on the size you have chosen. For some parts of the construction, you will need two people.

Supply and Install

We offer a supply and install service, which starts at £800 depending on your location.

Both a Supply Only and Supply and Install cost will be included within your quotation.

All Aliwood roof lanterns are designed to be assembled atop a pre-built kerb, built into a flat roof. Also known as an upstand, the kerb should be dressed securely with a waterproof roof membrane to form a weather-tight seal when the lantern is fixed on top.

You will need this kerb in place, with the roof membrane dressed over and lead flashing in place, prior to the delivery of your lantern.

The opening aperture should measure slightly smaller than the roof lantern that you are ordering. Your working drawing will provide the overall kerb dimension. Please refer to this when setting up the kerb.

The recommended kerb depth, from the highest point of the roof deck should be a minimum of 150mm.

The recommended kerb width should be a minimum of 90mm.

Always check the kerb measurements with your structural engineer so its tailored to your project.
